How to publish accessible Parish Council minutes online.
Publishing parish council minutes as a Word or PDF document is often not accessible or compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. To be fully accessible your minutes will usually need to be published in compliant HTML alongside an non-compliant PDF.
With a parish council website by Pear Space this is easy, just upload the minutes document in Word or PDF format, and our software automatically converts it to fully compliant accessible HTML and publishes it on your website. It also generates a helpful summary of what happened in the meeting that would be most interesting to the general public to make your minutes more engaging.
